Terms and Conditions

To secure a reservation, a deposit of £200.00, in the form of a cheque or money order made payable to P. Downey, is due within 10 days of making their reservation. The reservation must be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival date.

Cancellation Policy

All changes or cancellations must be received by us at :

Any changes to a reservation will be subject to a £20 administration charge.

Cancellations received 31 days or more prior to the arrival date will forfeit the deposit of £200.

Cancellations received between 30 and 7 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit the deposit plus 50% of the remainder of the total cost.

Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit the total cost.

We strongly recommend that guests take out travel insurance to cover the cost of any unforeseen eventuality.

Deposit Guarantee

A non-refundable House Damage Waiver (HDW) for the cost of $35.00 is taken, in case of damage done to the home above normal wear and tear.

In addition a credit card imprint of $250 will be taken at check-in to cover any additional charges should these arise. This payment is fully refunded if there are no additional charges.

Both of these charges will be made by the management company at check in.

Pool Heating

If required, the swimming pool heating system can be activated at a cost of £135 per week payable 30 days before the arrival date.
Alternately, pool heating can be requested at check-in or during the stay, in which case payment of $200 per week will be charged by the management company - please note pool will take between 24 and 36 hours to be fully heated.

Currency

Except for charges paid directly to the management company, all prices and charges are in £Sterling. Payment can also be accepted in $US or €Euros at the conversion rate to £Sterling as published on the Financial Times website www.ft.com - this is subject to a handling charge of 2%.
